Surprised to see people assume there would be no blood in MKLK on Switch because there was no blood shown in the Nintendo Direct segment.

Blood has been an option in MK since the arcade original; operators could flip a dipswitch to enable/disable the red stuff based on their location's needs.
We are retaining those options across all platforms for #MKLK. It's all part of the preservation, so blood or no blood remains your call!

I think I found the permits Apple got for filming at the Chicago Michigan Ave Store. Looks like it was Aug 10-13th overnights.

Today’s Stratechery is bonkers. Ben wrote a post about Apple in China, and then had OpenAI’s Deep Research do the same. The OpenAI version could probably use an editor, but it's better than most of the research work consultants do — I'd say the quality of work wasn’t far from Ben’s own writing.
