Name a villain you sympathise with.

Has to be Joe Abercrombie’s Glokta. Although, not sure if he’s classed as a villain or a victim but either way, love him.

A mix of mystery, adventure, and heart, The Lost War brings classic quest fantasy to life with warmth, humour, and a twist that still stuns on reread.

This is what is happening. It is cynical. It is strategic. It is organised. It is well funded.

And we need to pay attention.

The far right - and their cheerleaders, mimics, tribute acts, and handmaidens have identified two presentational frameworks that give them cut-through and traction. 1/7

Controversial opinion I know but…. I don’t get Mac and cheese. It’s a side dish at best. I mean, I love cheese, but a big bowl of beige mush? Don’t get it. I’m also not a fan of pizza, it’s just a warm open sandwich - thin, crispy is ok but otherwise, meh. Tell me there are more like me!

OpenAI pirated large numbers of books and used them to train models.

OpenAI then deleted the dataset with the pirated books, and employees sent each other messages about doing so.

A lawsuit could now force the company to pay $150,000 per book, adding up to billions in damages.

This wife talking about her husband becoming radicalised by Farage and those like him really is quite extraordinary in its heartbreaking understatement.

"He absolutely wanted it to be [a terrorist attack]. The grin on his face. He wanted an I-told-you-so."

I've written a couple of things over the last days about how the government and much of Westminster remaining on X as the platform becomes increasingly toxic is having consequences for our politics...
Our politics is increasingly normalised to racism – because politicians are addicted to X
The platform has quietly dragged British politics into a dark place

Hamilton at The Theatre Royal tonight, was fab. Worth the wait, cast, singing and choreography are outstanding. Brilliant.

Still cursing Book of Mormon though for ruining all theatre shows since. Can’t imagine anything surpassing it. Maybe Rocky Horror, but that’s got a solid place in my heart.
