Mayor of Minneapolis Jacob Frey
@mayorfrey.com
I am the mayor of Minneapolis since 2017 who has overseen transformational change in Minneapolis. I enjoy running (marathons, campaigns, away from people).

A parody, but the real joke is Jacob Frey.
Fuck you, I’m the mayor.

Many people will be critical of this response, but we must back the blue no matter who.

As Mayor of MPLS, I’m not going to let this Communist Lunatic destroy MPLS. Rest assured, I hold all the levers, and have all the cards. I’ll save MPLS, and make it ‘Hot’ and ‘Great’ again!

STOP THE STEAL
"The DFL’s endorsement of democratic socialist candidate Omar Fateh on Saturday night abruptly rousted what had been a fairly sleepy race for mayor of Minneapolis," writes columnist Eric Roper.
Roper: DFL endorsement of democratic socialist wakes up sleepy Minneapolis mayor’s race
Omar Fateh’s win over Jacob Frey Saturday is likely to energize both sides of the city’s political landscape.

People are saying that Little Omar and “Pastor” Davis are breaking THE LAW. We will be talking to our lawyers. I’LL SEE YOU IN COURT.

A lot of talk about massive CHEATING in MPLS. Law Enforcement coming!!!
State Sen. Omar Fateh won at least 60% of the Minneapolis DFL delegate vote Saturday, defeating Mayor Jacob Frey in the party’s first endorsement of a mayoral candidate in 16 years.
Minneapolis DFL convention endorses democratic socialist Omar Fateh for mayor over Jacob Frey
Incumbent Frey’s campaign said he’ll appeal Fateh’s Saturday victory in the party’s mayoral endorsement.

He only won in the eyes of the FAKE NEWS MEDIA, I concede NOTHING! We have a long way to go. This was a RIGGED ELECTION!
July 20, 2025 at 1:11 PM
I want to thank everyone who showed up to support my campaign. This election should be decided by our entire city, not by a handful of delegates who care deeply about Minneapolis.

So deeply that they would spend 12 hours inside in July just to have me take my ball and go home.

I am proud of Becka Thompson for standing up to the bullies who know how to use photoshop. We need more people like her by my side to ensure people see our city for what it is: a place for the privileged few who deserve better than to be mocked online.

Have you seen how ugly our cops are?
June 4, 2025 at 1:46 AM
People want to blame me for this, but I did not authorize it. MPD does not respect me and does whatever they want.
They tried lie about an ICE presence. MPD assisted with closing off the area. This is completely wrong.

Five years after MPD murdered George Floyd while people watched and begged them to stop, we have not made enough progress in reforming policing in Minneapolis.

I am running for mayor to finish the job. The mayor is responsible for MPD and we cannot tolerate any more incompetence in city hall.

Jerry has a right to defend the piles of money I make sure he has, no matter how poorly it’s used.
Has @mayorfrey.com condemned the violent and homophobic comments and threats made by his ally McAfee?
Great headline.

Thank you for your support. I will continue to obstruct, drag my feet, and manufacture consent until I get what I want.

Together, we will make the city council pay.
I don't agree with @mayorfrey.com very often here in #Minneapolis. But am with this one 100%. This blemish on the city has been going on far too long. It is a major intersection in a vibrant neighborhood which has been strangled by this indecision for 4 years now. Get Er Done.

I’m Jacob Frey and I’m running for the mayor of Minneapolis. The past four years of Mayor Hodges’s administration has been a disaster and I intend to make Minneapolis great again!

I am relieved this is over. I spent so much time practicing how to plead the fifth last night and am glad I won’t have to now.

My good friend Dean Phillips is right. We need fewer cowards in government.
Rep. Dean Phillips said “one of his great disappointments” in his six years in Congress was the “cowardice” of both his Republican and Democratic colleagues.

“[Their] cowardice — and I don’t know a better word for it — is extraordinarily consequential to this country,” he said.
Democrats still upset with Rep. Dean Phillips, but he said he feels good as he exits Congress
The congressman is unsure what his next move is, but he said he has no plans to run for Minnesota governor or U.S. Senate.

I believe this would be a good way to reduce poverty.

However, after consulting with several police officers who receive overtime pay for destroying homeless encampments, I cannot in good faith take away the joy they get from harming vulnerable people.

We cannot hurt some to help others.
Denver gave people experiencing homelessness $1k/month. A year later, nearly half had housing.

They also had fewer ER visits, nights spent in a hospital, and jail stays.

The report estimates that this reduction in public service use SAVED the city $589k.
