The biggest loss to survival horror in the past 20 years with over the shoulder perspective, is the cinematography that truly came with pre-rendered backgrounds and the pulled back camera that allowed to capture each shot perfectly.

I'm 32 hours into Dragon Quest VII Reimagined, and I think my biggest criticism of it as of right now is that changing vocations does not change your appearance along with it. Like it's a job system, you should get new outfits to match the one you just switched to, y'know?

Wait hold up they announced a new Legacy of Kain game alongside the Defiance remaster, and it's a retro 2D action platformer, and Michael Bell and Simon Templeman are back voicing their roles as Kain and Raziel? Like what? Holy hell never thought I'd see it.

So I'm kind of losing interest in MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls with each new reveal of the roster. There just nobody I've seen I want to play so far and I'm suppose to make a team of four, and fighters live and die with having characters you want to pour hours into learning.

Didn't expect Silent Hill: Townfall to release this year, but despite that and what was shown today, I'm not sure if I'd say I'm excited since I am not really the biggest fan of first person view for horror games. That said I am interested to learn and see more of it.

Never got around to playing Kena: Bridge of Spirits, but Kena: Scars of Kosmora is looking pretty great and something I will want to play in the future, so I might have to change that soon with the first game before the second drops.

I knew that was Sherry Birkin just from her voice in past trailers for Resident Evil Requiem, but it still great to actually see her back and helping Leon in what is basically an 30th Anniversary title for the series.

New entry in the series with Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse is pretty exciting, especially since it back to 2D goodness and being handle by Motion Twin, who are massive fans and made Dead Cells. So it might be pretty great, so I'm buying day one.

It probably won't be out for a while, since it looked pretty early in development, but who cares, Dead or Alive is actually back!! That series was almost as good as dead, but it really getting a new entry.

Not me forgetting that Reanimal comes out this Friday too. So that's another one this month I won't be able to get to until a later date and time, and that's unfortunate especially for this one since I love Tarsier Studios two Little Nightmare games.

It low-key irk me that I can't get Romeo Is A Dead Man right now, as I really want to support it, especially since it sound like a make or break title for Grasshopper Manufacture given it their first self-published game and there a lot riding on it.

Nice to hear .45 Parabellum Bloodhound is now content complete and their now on to polishing it up. It been the Parasite Eve inspired game I've been looking forward to, as it isn't trying to be it, but it's own thing while just using some battle system ideas.

Finally time to start my journey back up from the Dragon Quest VII Reimagined demo. As for Persona 3 Reload, I've already played the original back in 07. So I'm not in a hurry to play the remake, but it was $10 and felt I should grab it for a future playthrough.

Imagine if the people that are upset over that halftime show actually used that energy for real issues, like all the children rapists and murderers we got in our government which they willingly turning a blind eye to and allowing to get away with it.

To be honest, Leon is probably the most misunderstood character out of the Resident Evil series, as what many see as this brave and invincible badass, is actually a very broken individual who only held it together for the sake of a little girl, Sherry.

To be honest, Leon is probably the most misunderstood character out of the Resident Evil series, as what many see as this brave and invincible badass, is actually a very broken individual who only held it together for the sake of a little girl, Sherry.
It amaze me at time that despite how many have played the Resident Evil series, many still misunderstand the reason behind Leon's one liners and wisecracks, as it all just another coping mechanism to help him deal with the trauma that had him considering suicide a number of times, like his drinking.

Did a playthrough of Lollipop Chainsaw for the first time the other day, and it was pretty dumb, but in a fun kind of way that carry a lot of charm. So I can see why people like it so much, even with all the jank behind it. The main character Juliet is pretty likeable too.

So finished up my playthrough of Shadow of Memories, but I'm reluctant to give my final thoughts on it, as it seem to be one of those games you need to play multiple times to experience the full story and won't have time to do that right now. I like what I have played of it though.
