Hi! I'm here to lurk quietly, and post pictures of bread sometimes... and maybe an occasional selfie.... also, I'm a TTRPG nerd, so that might come up; and I like mushrooms, and hiking, and food porn.
In my heart it's still 10 years ago, and bone broth was the cure for everything from intestinal micro tears to, well, mostly that. Anyway, few things bring me the clarity of filtering fresh made bone broth.

So chatgbt is not a replacement for a doctor or therapist, but it IS giving surprisingly nuanced responses as I discuss the ramifications of being chronically depressed with comorbid ADHD in my latter 40s. I'm in real pain too much of the time, and AI might be the thing that gets me to therapy.

This pie that i have made! It tastes like French onion soup. Two medium onions sliced and caramelized with minced garlic. A pint of sliced white mushrooms sautéed and browned. 4 eggs beaten with 1/3 cup of milk and a 2/3 cup of grated Swiss cheese. Salt, pepper, thyme, nutmeg and cardamom. A crust!

I'm still a very bad photographer, but it's breakfast! Or it was. Just bread seared in EVO with a little parm for salt and umami and a touch of raw honey for love of getting it raw!

It's me! And a cup of coffee! I bought and mase some! Kopi Luwak is famed for several reasons. The second one is its expense, and this brand wasn't at less than 40USD for 8.8oz. It IS bright without acidity, mild and just a tad nutty. I like it enough to try some of the REALLY pricey stuff!

My mouth is screaming on the bedside table. It was a gift, or it must have been. I don't know where it came from otherwise. I look inside. It's dusty. There are black specks on the on the hard palate. It's my mouth. I shouldn't be able to fit my head inside to look at it like this.

There's something about realizing you're never going to open a relatively okay bottle of wine unless you cook with it so you make a ratatouille, but now you have most of a bottle that'll go sour by tomorrow if you don't drink it and now you're wine-drunk at 5pm, and here's a kitten!

ANYWAY! I made bread! Egyptian flat bread called eish baladi. Of course it's #sourdough and baked on a hot rock(in' cookie sheet). Great for scoopin up grub!

I'm so happy! My DM has graciously allowed me to play a venerable pseudodragon druid! She is the matriarch of a missing pseudodragon colony and wants only to be with her family again. She insists the party refer to her as "Grandma." She occasionally uses her wild shape to become humanoid.
