I'm a writer who's optimistic that my current gaslamp/historical fantasy project will be publishable.
Spoke with a pretty right wing person last night and he went on an anti Trump tirade. I was a little shocked but at the same time I'm pretty sure he'd vote for Trump again.
Then he started going on about the "trans genders" and I had to redirect him back to talking about black powder guns.

Also came up with some ideas for a couple short stores based around other characters in the story. Maybe I could write this up after the novel is finished and publish them cheap or free. Hmmm...

Taking notes on what changes the story needs. Seems to be mostly adding scenes and tweaking existing ones rather than ripping out wires like when I resurrected the story originally from my trash pile.

Adding a necessary scene early in a story and it's taking a lot of discipline to keep from making a change that'll cascade 90% through the main plot.
