For the sake of my sanity, my GOTY list will be split into a part 1 and a part 2. There are just too many games. Part 1 by end of January, part 2 maybe March? Part 2’s list will merge into 1’s for the final ranking.

it never ceases to amaze me how many developers straight up lie about not using genAI art until they're caught, even placeholder. like, hmm, it's almost as if they know there's something ethically and morally wrong about it!!
