Watch Julien Temple's documentary The Filth And The Fury. It's got footage from this concert. My favourite is the band covered in cake that the children had thrown at them. The smiles show that when left to it, they could have fun as a band.

I just don't understand social media. I write one post every couple of weeks, and it never gets any engagement. I'm loathe to move to a once a week schedule, as that reeks of desperation and a certain narcissism.

In case anyone is still struggling to find a Christmas present for that special person in their life who enjoys shortish novels about childhood, mining, robots, alpacas, aliens, education, magic and the lost countryside of the Nearly North, I hear this is ok.
