I don't, love, that the first time Helsmiths will feature prominently in a novel-length outing is as the antagonists.

I can't believe I missed this one! This first image is very near to my heart as the White Dwarf cover that was my very first intro to Warhammer back in 2001! The next two are classics I remember from the days of Codex: T'au in 3rd. Last one I'm not sure I remember but Vostroyans!

I'm not across Scourge of Ghyran at all but right now a couple of these rules are looking quite fun. I'm particularly keen on Breath of Contempt and those Daemonfire Pistols.

These are two quite excellent birbs and while it's hard to choose a favourite, I lied they're both great but I want that Birb Knight.

I'm thinking this image has again been expanded upon and coloured in the years since I knew it. This Plague Marine's torso accompanied the flavour text on Nurgle in my 3e CSM Codex. I initially interpreted those images as being of the Chaos Gods themselves and this is still how I imagine Nurgle.

I've just seen an adult human being claim that caterpillars metamorphose by "break[ing] down to liquid form" and "rebuild[ing] an entirely new animal" and I am absolutely done speaking to other humans this year.

I can't believe I missed this one! I know and love the Sisters best as the Chamber Militant of the Ordo Hereticus, so these pieces from the old Codex: Witchhunters really speak to me. Fuel for the fire of my desire to collect an army themed around that venerable time one day.
