Work in progress: WIZARD BATTLE!

Like many of my paintings, it's basically just a joke. In this case, a couple of recognizable cartoon wizards from my childhood (Presto from the Dungeons & Dragons cartoon, and Orko from Masters of the Universe) squaring off against a surprising enemy.

The local Art Center isn't accepting any not-for-sale works in the big annual regional exhibition.

I'm grateful they've allowed me to list my work for a comically high price, nakedly circumventing the rules.

Gus had a minor surgical procedure a couple of weeks ago, to remove the tip of his right ear - which had an old hunk of scar tissue on it, that wouldn't stop bleeding. Now he's almost healed, and adorably asymmetrical!
