To be fair, when Matt presented, it was ABOUT how the fans felt about the Phillies, so the booing really just added to the ambience. I could smell the cheesesteaks.

Congrats. If I don’t make it, should I direct @justmckinney.bsky.social , @mattalbertson.bsky.social , or someone else to heckle you? 🤣🤣🤣

(Seriously, though, congrats!)

@adarowski.bsky.social is there a way to search for teams who had the most catchers in one season? The 1884 Phillies had 12, which is a lot.

This would be cool if the games were played in Hartford and Quebec. Otherwise, this is a stolen valor money grab. Neither fanbase supported the Quebec Nordiques or Hartford Whalers when they were in the NHL.

The night Rick Wise threw a no hitter, he hit two home runs. Three strikeouts. And that was just a random day in June.

Unreal night by Ohtani.
Shohei Ohtani is the first player with 3 homers and 10 strikeouts as a pitcher in a game

Ed's last address was at 1240 Palmer St., which was familiar. Why? Because Reach's factory was at Tulip and Palmer Streets. They are within walking distance.

I decided to dive into Ed Sixsmith a little. In the 1900 Census, he was listed as a BASEBALL STITCHER! Now, how cool was that. Did he work at Reach's factory on Tulip St?!
