Oh interesting. Curious how these do in the Florida heat. My experience with wireless charging in the parks hasnโt been great.

I guess, but it is hard not to think the guy driving the 5500lb ford pickup truck that gets 19mpg so he can make a Costco run is getting a discount on his car registration fee.

Yeah. Iโve heard the argument that they pay gas taxes but I donโt think people appreciate how little gas most PHEVโs use for typical day to day driving.
I had a Honda Clarity for like 5 years and if I filled it up more than a dozen times Iโd be surprised.

Weโve been hit with something similar in NJ. It doesnโt feel like weโve hit the tipping point with more EVs on the road than IC vehicles so i donโt buy the need to offset gas taxes.

Eddie Sotto seemed like an extraordinarily talented and kind guy. He was always generous with his time in engaging on Twitter and elsewhere and I enjoyed talking about Disneyland Paris with him. Thankful that his work will live on to entertain for generations to come. May his memory be a blessing.

You have some good replies already, but in the coming months we will likely start to see โapp storesโ inside consumer AI apps. OpenAI, Anthropic, & others have ways for companies to not only surface content, but execute transactions. It is not too far fetched to start booking DCL directly in ChatGPT
