While a justified position, sadly this resistance will give Trump cause to evoke the Insurrection Act … but that was the purpose of recent actions, to get the people so pissed they take action for themselves.

Organized. Pissed. They demand that ICE be abolished & they reject a regime that kills with impunity. The Federal Government has abandoned accountability, so communities are stepping up to defend themselves.

They just want this but without the optics that will make most normal humans disgusted. They’re upset that Trump is too blatant with his cruelty, not that the cruelty is there. They know this looks bad and there’s no way to spin it.
