Here are my thoughts on funny Metroid discourse: I hope people who spend a lot of money on the game have a good time.
I don’t want to spend it and I haven’t liked a single retro studios game since Prime 1. It’s all been downhill since.
I didn’t even like their take on Donkey Kong.

Depending on its price, I may end up getting a Steam Machine just to get a break from the Windows hellscape.
I might have solved my GPU problems (still doubtful but there are solid signs) but I'm really tired of shit constantly breaking over here.
And I do need a 2nd PC for a lot of reasons!

Hit & Run sure isn't done yet, but it's on the final stretch. That game sure is a lot to deal with!

Hit & Run sure isn't done yet, but it's on the final stretch. That game sure is a lot to deal with!

Feels like I may be hitting another cataclysmic loss. My 3080 could be failing.
Still things left to try, but it’s looking grim.
I can’t afford a proper replacement or upgrade.
At best I may be able to get a much worse GPU for a lot less money and still be able to stream with it.

So I set up a goal w/ my Ko-Fi to help support my moving in Feb/Mar 2026. Being an uncle of like 6-7 & my parents getting older and missing moments is a big reason. Also more time with internet friends too.
