“well, it doesn’t look super great, if i am quite honest with you,” she responded with a sigh, as she applied the ointment which should help the pain and inflammation, as well as the bruising. “but you are going to be alright, i promise you that.”

“oh, it’s not /that/ bad. you will be able to walk now, just very carefully.” she carefully gently move his shirt up, after grabbing some ointment. “this should help with the bruising. i will rub it in there for you. it will take the inflammation down.” she assured, being gentle as she applied it.
Kilgrave slightly looks at her. “Will I be able to walk again?” He asks her curiously with a hint of fear in his voice.

a soft breath was taken. “oh boy,” she mouthed as she gently shifted the shirt to look. “you back is pretty badly bruised, and it goes down to your lower back. no cuts, at least. it’s not… horrible, but it needs some help.” she commented softly.

“oh dear,” her face darkened with worry as she moved to inspect the damage rendered upon him, and she gazed up at him, offering a small smile. “don’t mention it. come, sit up, let me take a look at how your back is doing.” she moved to help guide him up, her hands gentle albeit steady.

“Can you heal me please?” Kilgrave asks her as his voice was very weak from the incident. “I normally could’ve healed from this, but for some reason I can’t.” He replies as she watches her closely.
the young woman returned the bit of a smile, and she nodded quietly, taking another small step closer. “i can certainly try,” she commented. “what can i do for you, sir?” she tilted her head slightly as she watched him, waiting for him to show what he needed.
