Flattening Gridania's systemic issues into "lol the trees are racist" does a disservice to the harm this kind of "soft" power causes. It's oppression wrapped in the language of new agey wellness cults.

Yeah. YEAH. Gridania's systemic bigotry is... I don't want to say "more subtle", exactly, but it couches itself in the language of gentleness in a way that's different (but no less harmful) than more militaristic city-states like Garlemald or Ishgard.
