you'd think that I'd be familiar with state abbreviations by now, since "is this state safe for me to live in?" is one of the first things I consider when applying to a Masters program.

but no, I still constantly have to google what ME, MA, MO, MI, and MS stand for.

regardless of if it's true that **the entire USA** uses this much water for lawns, there are Several reports of individual regions where this is the case. in other words, kill your lawn!!

No wonder I had an anxiety disorder - I spent the last 10 years seeing this coming and feeling like I couldn’t do enough to stop it.

I say “had” because I’m 100% anxiety free now.

Maybe it’s the perverse relief of the horrible thing finally happening - seeing the enemy’s face clearly.
