14 year ago Abdulhadi Alkhawaja, who turned 64 last week was unjustly imprisoned and then sentenced to life imprisonment. I urge the Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen to directly call for his release with her Bahraini counterpart.

How we dreamed in 2011 when we started the "Youth Coalition for Revolutions of Dignity".. it never quite took off, but it's insane to think of where we were and where we are now. Perhaps it was naive, perhaps it was far fetched, but at least we dared to dream, even when it came at a high cost..

5000 days - and instead of a #FreeAlKhawaja, we're very worried. The Danish government did NOT do what needs to be done to get my father released..
