Hoy es el último día de mis vacaciones en México y fue un día hermoso que me enseñó mucho. Amo a mis sobrinas y estar en Tonalá me trae muchos recuerdos sin embargo sé que mi vida ya no está aquí pero también que debo seguir superándome para mejorar sus vidas que será mi manera de estar presente 💝

I volunteer with a non-profit organization that conducts DEI training, and I think it's really strange that they're blaming the plane crash on DEI initiatives.
Obviously, there's no connection. At least searches for the term DEI are going up. Incidentally, not a lot of people know…

Going back to the 1960’s the XY/XX chromosomes classification made no historical, scientific, ethical, legal or social sense.
Recognizing this,the IOC last engaged in chromosomal testing in 1996 Olympics, and formally banned the practice in 1999.

Today in Mexico, my sister-in-law was assaulted by a customer at work. The company instead of calling the police and helping her file a report, her employer forced her to resign (out of fear of a lawsuit) and won't give her the attacker's name.
I'm so angry I can't even put it into words.

I don't get why it's seen as wrong to question or criticize your own country, making it a taboo topic. When you do, they often dismiss you by saying it's the same everywhere. It might be the same everywhere, but the violence in Mexico was something I never experienced here in the US.
