I used to retweet a ton and used likes as bookmarks. Gradually as Twitter (already pre-Musk) evolved, likes became "small retweets"and retweets were less important for highlighting good content. Let's see how it evolves here. I think the pre-Musk Twitter algoritms were pretty good though.
My one constructive criticism on BlueSky, as a community: we need to “like” less and “retweet” more. In the absence of an algorithm, that’s the way we find each other and reward good content.
