Question to Zach Polanski at the leadership announcement:

"Q: How can you take on Nigel Farage when your policy on immigration is so different?"

Everything wrong with British politics and media summed up so succinctly in a single absolutely unhinged question.

It’s hard to look around—at Blair pitching a luxury resort to be built on the Gaza killing fields or Keir Starmer responding to anti-Asian hate by affirming his affinity for the perpetrators—and not conclude that the elite’s real problem with Corbyn was that he wasn’t sufficiently Islamophobic.

I think George Osborne openly musing to the air that the security services probably wouldn’t have tolerated Labour winning in 2017, because of our relationship with America, is quite helpful and I’d like to hear more.

Compare the amount of coverage of a thousand or so fascist "protestors" has received with the tens and hundreds of thousands of left wing protestors over the years (austerity, Gaza, Iraq, BLM etc)

Some are painted as "legitimate concerns", others as noise or naive demands

Ask yourself why

400 counter protestors vs 15 fascists in Bristol

And yet it is the latter who are painted as expressing the "legitimate grievances" of "the people" by the mainstream media and politicians

This leads to emboldening and mainstreaming and it is a top down effect

This morning a British dr who has just returned from Gaza explained how IDF soldiers play a game when they shoot Palestinian kids - one day they'll shoot them in the head, the next day in the chest, & so on

Adil ray asks govt minister Peter Kyle, should we be training IDF soldiers in the UK?
