Seriously. I sue drug companies, you don't have to tell me they suck, nor explain to me the risks of pharmaceuticals.

But vaccines are different, they're like stealing fire from the Gods and burning plagues with it. Their benefit/risk ratio is downright magical.

New paper by Hong Hui Choi on Preregistration and Predictivism argues that weak predictivists should support preregistration. He extends my philosophical arguments for preregistration by more tightly linking them to weak predictivism.

Do you need to report deviations from the preregistered analysis plan? Not all deviations are the same. Evaluate the consequences on the severity and validity of the test. Some deviations are improvements. osf.io/preprints/ps...
