Between November 2025 and November 2025, I released 3 albums after 20 or so years of playing covers and being extremely self-conscious and embarrassed at the thought of anyone listening to my original songs. Now that the dam has finally burst, I’m grateful for every listen.

I really don’t envy people who teach statistics on the regular. It seems like a field especially prone to losing students early on and never getting them back on board

Is there a term similar to subtractive bilingualism but for culture? Like how study abroad leaves you less able to take the norms of your first culture for granted, which makes you less functional in that culture
