Love tech, the outdoors, and honesty...but maybe that's redundant
#PayAttention to the level of vigor someone puts into their 'I am innocent' statements

I think it is pretty typical for people to put a lot of energy into preventing getting caught

Truth is easy to defend...lies are not

I wonder why we don't go after drug users to stop the drug trade...Supply and Demand, right. Stop demand and there won't be a supply try to stop

We could help drug users & even understand why they use. Rebuild communities ravaged by rampant drug use

Oh, wait...blowing shit up plays better to some

#PayAttention to how you leave things. Consider what others might have to cleanup or undo from your presence

Push in chairs
Put down the point seat
Take that cart to the cart corral

Make the world a better place by starting small...and building on the feeling of 'doing good things'

So #Frontier was acquired by @verizonofficial.bsky.social this month. And my home internet cost went up $15 instantly

Thanks for the reminder why I don't use #Verizon whenever possible

Time to start shopping around again

#PayAttention to what someone claims someone else is doing. It is a bit of a 'tell' on what the claimer does or has considered doing themselves

After writing markdown docs in VS Code for years I was tasked to write an installation guide in MS Word

I absolutely hate it

Markdown makes is easy to make a table or add line numbers

I love working in markdown for the same reason I love shopping at Trader Joe's...simple and easy

I have seen several examples where a single team member disrupts the team trust/energy. I think the rest of the team is weakened by leadership allowing bad members to be bad
Trust is interesting because it’s not quantifiable but it certainly is palpable. Teams with trust move lightning speeds faster than those without.

One upside of the economy and #Shrinkflation... my hand seems to have gotten bigger

What I find interesting about this post and responses is how much non-MAGA folks react and respond like MAGA folks in the same, but reversed situation

Each side differs on what they react to, but pretty much reacts with the same anger and hate, and without much in the way of facts
May Jonathon Ross never have a peaceful day for the rest of his life.

It is quite confounding to see yet another iteration of 'it will work this time' regarding geopolitical intervention

Maybe I'm giving too much credit to the current folks that they know the history of regime-change failures

Mission Accomplished Much?

#NotToBeThatGuy but #ToBeThatGuy... 'Hand-Cut Fries' are really 'Knife-Cut Fries'. Otherwise they would be terribly mushy and inconsistently sized

Anyone up for some hot AI-on-AI action?

AI-generated Captcha easily defeated by free AI service

Why do companies think a 15-second hold music loop is ok? After 10 minutes on hold I will scream at the first person that comes on on the line

It comforts me to identify a possible motive to their behavior when I realize I don't trust someone

Even if I think they are bad or careless or selfish or even evil, I can understand their actions a little better if I see a possible reason

For #Trump, I got nuthin'. And that is what scares me

I worry that, hole up in our echo chambers, we are losing the skills to take in negative feedback and better ourselves

I expect it makes stepping outside our in-group even harder... scarier

I really hate this!

Working with my older family members, this kinda shit leads to mistaken installs...and I guess #Google doesn't care

My only solace is that when I don't accidentally click on the sponsored app, that company paid Google and got nothing from me...I hope

Reminder when trying to be dramatic by ending your point with 'Full Stop!'...you can't then start talking again

You have to...well...Stop
October 25, 2025 at 4:29 PM
I like talking to people, but not talking about people

Ideas, concepts, how-to's, data, experiences, challenges, triumphs, thoughts on the future? Yes, please

What so-and-so did, is doing, or (the worst) what you think they will do? Buh bye

I don't care for UI Hyperbole I encounter, like 'Thanks'. There is nothing feeling any appreciation for me not logging in. And, in fact, I suspect Google would prefer I do sign in

Maybe a No, and Sign In, Thanks would be closer to reality
