Our founders left us with enough written material that should bolster our efforts to keep what they started.

This works only as the masses are asleep. When enough of us are stirred, we will be the brushfire to rekindle our democracy.

A warning from our founders that applies to our present day. We have some work to do.

We all know people that have little or no understanding of democracy. We are the defense against them.

Our cousins on the right and far right are totally immersed in ignorance.

A voice from our revolution. I am posting this and more as a reminder of who we have to thank for our democracy.

Republicans have been dumbing down Americans for many decades. Privatizing schools removes access to a large percentage of Republican voters, while advantaging the wealthy.

Hope is a powerful thing. It offers encouragement whenever our will slackens.

When you really love something or someone you will go to any length to keep them safe.

We outnumber them. You know it, I know it. We just have to wake up the rest of those who think that they don't count.

Every advancement in our culture has come from some form of open rebellion. The present is no exception.

We do enough of the small acts of change, we will drive the opposition crazy.

Everyday brings more insult to injury. Most of our conservative reps are trying to go back to a time that Charles Dickens wrote about: dead and dying in the streets, with money being god.

This is the best time to learn history. Will Durant was a great history teacher. Guys like Ken Burns and Lonnie Bunch are a godsend for us. Kudos out there to all teachers.

As a history buff, I was well aware of the American Revolution before Ken Burns did his thing. But, I have to say that his 12hour essay has been riviting.

Saving democracy is an individual job. One person, one vote, that culminate in a grand union of expression.

This sums up what the current adminstration is offering. All smoke and mirrors. The carnival flim flam man.

It doesn't take a genius to see that we are being governed by the most ignorant this country has ever had.
November 21, 2025 at 9:14 PM
Democracy needs constant protection. Knowledge and participation are the key to its preservation.
November 21, 2025 at 9:10 PM
This is how it started. This is how it's supposed to be. Who's serving who, now?
November 20, 2025 at 9:58 PM
Bedrock. Wisdom and liberty are hand in glove. That's what so neat about our democracy.
November 20, 2025 at 9:47 PM
Morality needs to be resurrected. That's the foundation of trust in our fellow citizens.
November 20, 2025 at 9:33 PM
Ben didn't think that democracy would last. We need to prove him wrong.
November 20, 2025 at 9:29 PM
To reawaken morality will go a long way to bolster our exercise of governing. Wearing the white hats is not enough.
