Here's a gentle reminder that we need to read leftist literature to gain the necessary big-picture knowledge to not only engage in fruitful discussions but also to dismiss or combat information from groups who want to misrepresent certain ideals/beliefs/movements for their gain.

At the micro level, one of the most lefty, radical things we can do is be kind to those around us. If we want to fight hatred, then we must build community. We can't push away earnest people for not always having the "perfectly Internet-approved leftist" take. (1/2)
