There have now been 100 aircraft under-flights of #EarthCARE, each providing invaluable information to calibrate and validate the data products. Great stuff! I love both I have. The ones for icy roads, snow, and hiking. And those I use for running. But why always buy on Amazon. Use your local dealer if possible, or some other online option. Beff Jezos has more than enough money, in my opinion.

Definitely train whenever possible. Like last week from Cologne to Ireland, though there was some ferry included for the final step.

Honestly, I'm pretty sure they do the cryosphere, but for the heliosphere I would need to make some surveys or consult colleagues. But not in the night train.

There are some polar orbiting microwave instruments on EUMETSAT platforms. Nevertheless, it is a disaster.

2 weeks of #COMPEX-EC #EarthCARE validation with #Polar5 in Kiruna are over. We had 7 successful research flights with amazing data collected with our R&S suite. Stay tuned to see what we find when we dig into data.🧪 #remotesensing @unicologne.bsky.social @unileipzig.bsky.social @awi.de @esa.int
