The latest issue of #JACC features Dr. Milton Packer’s exploration of the “#adipokine hypothesis,” linking adipocyte biology to #HFpEF. Along with commentaries, it also debuts an interactive tool for exploring molecular roles in HFpEF.

After decades of disappointment in HFpEF, a new idea is shaking things up.

Could heart failure with preserved EF actually be an adipose-driven disease?

JACC’s latest issue explores “The Adipokine Hypothesis.”

I'm puzzled why Amgen is calling VESALIUS-CV a primary prevention trial. The inclusion criteria require evidence of at least 1 of the following:
A. Significant CAD
B. Significant atherosclerotic cerebrovascular disease C. significant PAD
D. Diabetes mellitus.

Biology, not blame.
That’s the message from #ESCCongress.
Fat is not just storage, it’s an organ.
Its signals may drive heart failure and more.

Heart disease in women doesn’t always look like what you expect. Shortness of breath, nausea, jaw pain, or anxiety can be signs too. Trust your instincts and know the hidden symptoms. Your heart deserves attention. ❤️ #HeartHealth
