This wrapped thing got out of hand
We're doing Raycast Wrapped now? Sorry but not everything needs to be wrapped.

I built spoton to solve a lazy problem: turning on my phone hotspot without taking my phone out of my pocket.

Android 16 killed the trick that made it possible.

Sunsetting the app (still available for Android < 16), open-sourcing the code. 👇
Sunsetting spoton: Android 16 killed the hotspot toggle trick - Marco Gomiero
spoton is getting sunset. I started this project because I had a very specific (and very lazy) problem: I wanted to enable my phone hotspot without taking my phone out of my pocket. I do it often when I’m travelling or working somewhere without stable Wi-Fi, and every time it was the same ritual: unlock phone, quick settings, find the hotspot tile, toggle, put phone away. At some point, I thought: “This should be a button on my wrist.

I didn't thought about it, but with Compose you gain also on app size. The "resources" part of the app size breakdown went down by 14 MB after migrating all the Airalo app to Compose 😮

Uh amazing, RSS-Parser is featured on the Kotlin's docs about migrating an Android-only app to be multiplatform 🤩🤩

Of course, it needs work, but now it's compiling again and with Compose Multiplatform!

And 95% of the work was done by Codex! Both by chatting in the web version while travelling and with the CLI.

Now with AI, I'm trying to resurrect my old project MoneyFlow (github.com/prof18/Mo...) and make it Compose Multiplatform. Also, making it simpler without unnecessary stuff 😅

All will be done by Codex in the background while I do something else. Let's see how it goes 😅

Nowadays, when I have a new bug/idea/whatever for my apps, before writing it down in my task manager, I write it down on Claude Code Web as well.

The agent will start working on it, and then I will have something to improve or just review and merge it.

I love it!

The feature that I regret the most adding on FeedFlow are notifications.

Without a server, notifications are unreliable. On old Android devices or some devices things doesn't work.

On iOS limitations are stricter.

I'm thinking of dropping the entire feature, too much headaches

Thanks to @feedflow.dev I have more "weird not working feeds" reported and I can keep improving RSS-Parser!
