Hot take - decentralized social media is a good thing actually.
Let’s return to the days of myspace, tumblr, and xanga amd let us find our communities the way we used to - recommendations from friends and dumb luck.
HOW are there still TWO WEEKS of school left. The past two days should have counted as at least one.

I heard about Biden's cancer diagnosis through a tiktok about Trump's obviously ghost-written tweet.
If traditional news media wasn't dead before...

Watching the new Taskmaster season and it makes me so happy to know that Jason Mantzoukas is as unhinged in real life as every character he plays.

Something I try to instill in my students: for all the plans we make in high school, literally anything is possible at any age.
If I would have stuck with the paths I planned in high school, college, my first job, and even when I started this job - I would have missed out on so many opportunities.

PSA: if you are a recipe blogger who advertises your recipe as a ‘one pan pasta’, and your recipe calls for pre-cooked pasta, you have lied.

Advantages of finally having the right dosage for your meds: You can do everything so much better!
Disadvantages of finally having the right dosage for your meds: You realize how much you COULDN'T do before and discover all kinds of extra work you have to do now to make up for the deficit.

So here's a wild thought I had today about RFK's autism speech:
You know what are typical signs of autism? Rigid thinking, difficulty relating to others, seeming blunt or rude, hyperfocus on a special interest...
What if RFK is autistic?

Literally one of the first things you learn in little league is ‘call it’ - how are there so many collisions in MLB?

It's Autism Acceptance/Awareness Month
I'm not built wrong - I'm just built different.
I don't need to be 'cured' - I need to be understood and supported.

A message to all movie industry executives:
Leave 👏 animation 👏 alone 👏
They didnt animate it cuz they couldn’t do it live-action, they did it to make something unique and beautiful.
Respect craft and crafters.

Might be an unpopular opinion, but I'll say it anyway - Bear McCreary's God of War score is easily on par with Howard Shore's LotR score in terms of thematic cohesion & storytelling.

I always make a schedule mapping out the end of the year work backwards so I know how I need to schedule things like final projects, rehearsals, etc. before the madness begins.

School ends in June. This is the earliest I've ever done my EOY map.

Listen - I would never wish harm on anybody…
But with all of this ‘roman salute’ talk, I’m just saying, the senate has the chance to do something REALLY interesting with the Ides of March coming up on Saturday.

5 things you should have by the time youre 30:
1. An unspeakable trauma
2. A bad movie or show youre weirdly defensive about
3. A drawer full of wires/cables you CANT throw out
4. A strong opinion about a gaming console that was already outdated when you were born
5. A passable Kermit impression

Anyone out there proficient in cooking dried beans? I’ve never tried before but with grocery prices going up I’m looking for meat alternatives. These chickpeas are telling me I have to soak em for 8 hours and THEN boil em for another 2? Is that right?? Who has the forking time???

I want insight into the first person who ever thought to cook something poisonous/inedible.
Like, what was going on in that guys life?
‘Hmm, I get sick every time i try eating these beans. I wonder if putting it into FIRE would change that.’

Call me a gatekeeper, but if you havent studied pedagogy, if you havent had to manage a classroom, if you havent had to prepare/grade lesson material - I am not interested in your opinions about education.
You're free to have opinions, but don't whine when someone QUALIFIED corrects your opinions.

Parenthood is full of all kinds of unique challenges, like the babysitter feeding your 7mo way too early leading to this weird decision
1: try to fit in one more feeding just before bedtime
2: stay up past bedtime for a better timed feeding
3: just put him to bed and hope he makes it to breakfast
