I haven't read or seen much of anything about midnight or the new race, I just think they look neat and get an Alien vs Predator vibe with them vs the void/black empire. Why can't we have an apex Predator vs the void without the titans or Light's interference?

Started thinking about Cain and Abelle's (deadbeat) dad, Adam... He left for unknown reasons to them when they were both very young and never returned. He defected to the Horde at some point and overall doesn't care for humans.
He hasn't met his kids, nor would he recognize them if he passed by.
