Wasn’t the ACA the republicans health care proposal in the first place? The Dems wanted a public option and many more robust provisions, but were forced to compromise on significant issues to get across the finish line .

So, the GOP strategy for government funding is: Pass a bill that cuts taxes for corporations and the wealthy and cuts social services for those in need and then cut checks to bail out those deemed “worthy” . Of course all checks are called Trump checks

Never in the history of the US has any president openly and repeatedly called for the investigation, arrest & prosecution of his political opponents. While many continue to shrug these things off and normalize them, I will never stop pointing out that this is what autocrats do.
