Hello to my new followers! On top of posting round Robins I also draw a Viking-Age comic called the Hogback Saga. Its about groups of Norse settlers that have been ousted from Dublin trying to form a new community as part of Strathclyde, the last kingdom of the North Britons.
genuinely curious if people that made a living from youtube videos are still able to do that now theres a gambling advert every three minutes relentless

watching tinker, tailor, soldier, spy- beyond the beautiful cinematography, or the plot or byzantine web of intrigue I'm forever fascinated by the true heart of the tale: Smiley enduringly going back to his wife despite her shagging every cunt in the vicinity

For the Govan Stones I go at lengths to explain they were a Brythonic Celtic speaking people and the Hogbacks could have a Viking artistic influence but were most likely made for the Strathclyde Kings
so its funny going seeing posts/videos claiming it was a Viking graveyard but what can you do?

A bargain price for this huge, well-researched and well-written book on eleventh-century Scotland.

this is interesting, the figure and the serpents remind me of the carvings from the Netherton cross

Was interesting watching this Jackson Crawford video that brings up the concept of the Ægishjálmur being some manner of force field rather than a literal helmet which reminded me of this old sketch I made trying to tackle that very subject

This is the most amazing bit of cross-cultural mythmaking ever. I wonder if this was inspired by myths of Talos? Anyhow, I am very sorry that the secretive guild of ancient Roman robot engineers never existed, though pleased they were appropriately unionized.
