Every time I learn things like this, it makes me really angry that these things were rarely included in our education. But at least it gives me a chance to learn discuss history with my kids.

Why are any of these people allowed to hold offices when their constant response is that they are unaware of major issues? If you can't be bothered to be informed about a bill you are tasked with voting on, you should have to forfeit your vote. This ineptitude in any other job would get them fired.

Why are any of these people allowed to hold offices when their constant response is that they are unaware of major issues? If you can't be bothered to be informed about a bill you are tasked with voting on, you should have to forfeit your vote. This ineptitude in any other job would get them fired.
