This insanity has to stop.
EXCLUSIVE: In an interview with Michael Scherer, Donald Trump threatened Venezuela’s interim leader, Delcy Rodríguez, with a fate worse than Maduro’s; defended regime change in the country; and expressed renewed interest in the U.S. seizing Greenland.
Trump: Delcy Rodríguez Might Be Next
The president told The Atlantic that the interim Venezuelan president will meet a fate worse than Maduro’s unless she complies with U.S. wishes.

It's kind of insane how the administration and its compliant media sold the casual news consumer the notion that regime change had happened in Caracas, and that the US was going to run the country. And we know this is very much not the case. This is called propaganda.

The ethical and legal damage will be with us forever but it’s the raging incompetence that will strike first, within the next few days.

The blatant illegality and the incoherence around what’s next should be the focus of the coverage. Anything else is credulous, enabling stenography.
Trump must be very happy with the elite media coverage, which has by and large been breathless. For shame.

The French word ‘huit’ (8) stems from Latin ‘octō’, so why does it have an h?

Its h was added at a time when u and v were still variants of the same letter: ‘uit’ (8) could be read as ‘vit’ (lives).

The h of Spanish ‘huevo’ (egg), from ‘ovum’, has the same origin.

The Epstein Files Transparency Act is a law, passed by Congress on November 19 with an overwhelming vote. Complying with it was not optional. The Department of Justice did not comply.

I want to make sure this is very clear.

First minute of Tony Dokoupil's debut as CBS anchor is pure Trump propaganda, showing only celebration of Trump's kidnapping, plus illiterate grammar: "Commandos raiding his compound before dawn grabbing he and his wife in their pajamas."
