Lähes 30 vuotta kestäneen tutkimuksen tulos: kun yöperhoset vähenivät, myös lintujen määrä putosi Pohjois-Suomessa
Tulokset viittaavat siihen, että hyönteiskantojen taantuminen voi johtaa niitä syövien lintujen vähenemiseen.

Suomen Perhostutkijain Seuran julkaiseman Baptria-lehden tuoreessa numerossa esitellään yöperhosseurannan 30-vuotista taivalta ja tuloksia kahden kirjoituksen voimin. Toukkana haavalla elävät lajit otetaan esille erityisenä esimerkkinä.
