Beautiful day, beautiful folx, and beautiful turnout <3 Thanks for seeing us, and being so kind.
It was so busy that we couldn't even finish setting up our table entirely while answering dozens of questions, receiving very kind feedback, and SO much patience while we were down two of our team!

Our mascot at @magpieevents.org is a wolf named Pointy that we specifically selected to help advocate against this. Colorado has had a severely difficult, uphill battle trying to reintroduce our native species back into the ecosystem and it has ended in so much bloodshed.

Furries, if yall are TRULY for the welfare of animals, it's time to do your thing. Even as a niche subculture--If all of us do our part and speak out/reach out to local representatives, there is a higher potential to make a difference in this grim environmental and political climate.
🚨URGENT: Congress prepares to push forward wolf slaughter bill that would remove federal protections for gray wolves across the lower 48 states and prohibit judicial review. Decision will be voted on Dec. 15 and could move to a House vote next week.
