So, they lobbied for months, but he didn’t lift restrictions until the CDC thought it was prudent. I’m a scientist who was extremely cautious (I had 4 friends die), and I thought it was time to lift testing mandates too.🤷🏻♀️

It sounds as if the CDC made the determination before the airlines asked for the restrictions to be lifted. I don’t see where he asked the CDC to manipulate anything for their benefit. If I remember correctly (I flew almost every week for work), it was time to stop the “mandate”.
