If there's a subreddit for your fandom that lets you advertise and post a link, throw it up there. Join fandom-related discords that may have fanfiction channels. Most importantly, understand where your fandom congregates the most - here? Twitter? Tumblr? Discord? - and go there.

The failure to understand how serious the r-word is (along with other ableist language) is an example of how bad education about disability is. Of course society has never been great about disability. Many of us weren't even allowed out in public until the 70s. People would rather we didn't exist.
The r word is not just an insult, it is an implication that disabled peopleβs (and whomever theyβre lumping in with us) very humanity ought to be denied. Thereβs a reason we fought to eradicate its use, and the people bringing it back are not βreclaimingβ it. Do not help them.

Being a writer with ADHD means having eighteen different and often expensive writing apps and programs but nothing works and I still end up using notepad 90% of the time.
