The Trump administration illegally arrested and detained Mahmoud Khalil, a lawful permanent resident and recent graduate of Columbia University, in direct retaliation for his advocacy. The government must immediately release him from custody.

President Trump's orders and rhetoric are intended to chill dissent and censor views he dislikes.

Let's be clear: the government can't threaten funding to universities for simply doing their job to foster an environment of free speech and free inquiry.

We deserve access to our elected reps.
Kentucky’s Republican congressional delegation are "weary and wary" of in-person town halls as voters express concerns about Trump's cuts.

They've been advised to screen attendees or use tele-town halls instead of facing constituents.

Kentuckians deserve direct access to their elected officials.

Damnit, KY, come on!
Severe overreach alert: extremist Rep. Roberts wants to dangerously upend our constitutional system of checks and balances by giving the legislature dominance over executive & judicial branches.

That's not how our democracy works. The Constitution established three equal branches for a reason.

It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office.

Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc.

Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.
