Consumer sentiment is now lower than it was during the Great Recession and the second lowest reading since 1952. The guy who inherited hundreds of millions from his father and squandered it now inherited an economy that was the envy of the world and squandered it.

The IHT change is not a 'family farm tax'. It's an inherited wealth tax, on assets over £1.3m (x2 for a married couple). It's closing a loophole.
Actually, it's *still* a subsidy: the rate farmers pay is 1/2 that of non-farmers. And they get 10 years to pay it
