If they can eliminate the Dept of Ed and totally screw up USAID, and FEMA, getting rid of ICE is certainly plausible.
If you’re a Democrat thinking about running for president in 2028 and you don’t believe calling to abolish ICE is a line in the sand for Democratic voters, you’re done before you even begin. This isn’t something that can be fixed. It’s broken and it needs to be torn down to the ground.
