Minnesota National Guard members have arrived at a federal building and were directed to distribute donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate to anti-ICE protesters. Guard members were issued reflective vests so they would not be mistaken for federal agents.

January here used to mean peace. It meant cold days and warm drinks. But that peace is broken. Now, instead of quiet, there is fear. People are being murdered in our neighborhoods. My heart is broken for my home.

IF ICE KNOCKS ON YOUR DOOR:
1) Start recording.
2) Ask to see a judicial warrant by sliding it under the door or holding it to a window. A valid warrent needs to be signed by a JUDGE or MAGISTRATE. It also needs to have your name/address on it.
3) Clearly state you do not consent to search.
