This is kind of absurd, but convenient for any interested in the handful of mods that are specific to PtDE. Also, the remaster runs better, as you'd really hope it would, but there are some smaller artistic changes that might lead some to prefer the original. Be aware that online is disabled though.

maybe it'd run better at 1080p, but I guess I have the curse of having bought a 1440p monitor. It's great when things run well, but it really does take a lot more power to render that higher resolution

unfortunate bc the game looks fantastic on max settings, but my (decently strong) PC gets like 20 fps. I really wish they'd focus more on performance, and it's absolutely possible with that engine. RE8 looks great, and runs flawlessly for me

l spent like all day battling with a firewall at work, but I managed to come out on top lol. working on a technical problem at my desk the whole day makes for a decent day though. I got to learn some new stuff at least
