Een zelfrijdende auto die in Haasdonk een werfkraan omver rijdt… hoe kan dit nog steeds gebeuren? Tot deze technologie écht veilig is, zouden zelfrijdende wagens gewoon verboden moeten worden. Veiligheid eerst!

Gisteravond is een werfkraan van 25 meter hoog omgevallen, nadat er een auto was tegen gebotst. De kraan stond in de Keizerstraat in Haasdonk, in Beveren-Kruibeke-Zwijndrecht. Niemand raakte gewond, maar 4 geparkeerde auto's en 2 huizen raakten beschadigd. De bewoners werden voor de veiligheid geëvacueerd.
