Err on the side of kindness. Love more. When life gets bad, try to remember all the good little things. Anything at all.
You got this...
even when you don't think you do.
The greenhouse bloomed for Christmas! I didn't know what color the Thanksgiving cactus was going to be but I'm so happy with it. And the amaryllis is just gorgeous #FlowerPower #LifeInTheGreenhouse

I feel like I got out of the graphic industry at just the right time. I'm glad I retired because I did paste-up before there were even computers AND I know how to run a typesetter and stat camera. It was an art form. Quality was everything. AI today is slop. /1

Peanut got a new home. Yes, the cactus has a name. This is a peanut cactus, so it's obvious where the name came from. We put together a new soil mixture for the cacti and will eventually be replanting all of them with some sand on top. #CactusLife #LifeInTheGreenhouse

It breaks my heart. Make no mistake, this is a choice. We are failing our children. We are failing our future generations by continuing to insist it's not the guns. Yes, It's the f****** guns.

Ask and you shall receive. I needed more space for plants and the neighbor was throwing out a pink desk and small plastic cart. My son reconfigured it to give me maximum shelf space and now my plants are "Pretty in Pink" #PlantLife #LifeInTheGreenhouse

I may have a plant problem. New starts (and a couple I bought) that were my project this morning. Now I just need to find a place for everything. But I don't think that's a bad problem to have! #LifeInTheGreenhouse

Some small Cactus starts we got from a friend. My son has decided we should grow all things thorny, and since he does all the heavy lifting I think I'll humor him! #LifeInTheGreenhouse

I'm going to have flowers. On every single branch, including the ones that I took the starts from. All from a small start that was gifted to me. Can't wait to see what color they will be. ##LifeInTheGreenhouse

The geckos are starting to discover the greenhouse. Only a couple in there now, but I love watching them so I hope more comes soon. #LifeInTheGreenhouse

These are a couple cactuses I picked up and actually paid full price for because they were so cool, which if you know me you know is a rarity. But I liked them, so I bought them. #LifeInTheGreenhouse

My (adult) son saw someone stomp on a bee while he was fishing out at the dock. Called him right out on it and told him bees were the reason he could eat and he needed to stop that crap. The guy actually apologized and said he'd remember that. I raised my kids right. #BeesAreLife

It's hard now for people who depend on SNAP benefits to feed their families. And kids deserve to eat no matter what. Please help where you can. For Manatee County FL here is a list of resources. For other areas Google food pantries and the name of your town mealsonwheelsplus.org/wp-content/u...

So nice to have the greenhouse up! I am not restricted to just mornings outside anymore. One of the cactus starts I'm replanting today. #FlowerPower

Not strong enough yet to go to a rally but much love and support to those that can. You are speaking for so many more than you know. #NoKings

Finally getting back to the outside. Still not all the way better, but I miss my outside. The boys got the greenhouse up while I was in the hospital, so I have a nice shaded place to do my planting. Had a little helper this morning. #LifeInTheGarden

I just stuck a couple leaves off another plant in the planter and I have babies starting!! Woo hoo! It only took about 8 months. If nothing else, I am learning patience. #LifeOnThePorch

My son left his (almost) empty coffee cup on the porch a bit ago. Apparently he's not the only one that likes his coffee with heavy french vanilla creamer #LifeOnThePorch

The storm a couple of days ago blew all the new leaves of the top of my lemon tree. But my garden dragonfly came to visit anyway. #Dragonfly #LifeInTheGarden

I love watching the geckos in the morning. There's a bunch of little babies running around but I haven't really been able to get any pictures of them. They are very shy. But here's one of the others that wanted to say good morning. #LifeOnThePorch

Good morning. These seeds were supposed to be succulents that were hard to find. Turns out they were not. Just morning glories. That's all right though, teach me to buy seeds on Temu #FlowerPower

Sitting here drinking my coffee and realized that the grapevines had twisted themselves around into the shape of a heart. With the shade from the banana trees, they were just trying to get a little light in their life. #MyLittleGarden
