A lot of the rest do seem to be working on the assumption that the system they rose in is really good and the only serious option, and also an immutable natural order that cannot be changed.

Going through some photos and these popped up. Ruby tailed wasp in a water cooler cup.
The head and thorax of the wasp is blue/green iridescent. The abdomen is a ruby metallic red. It is a very close up image with lots of detail of the exoskeleton. We are looking down at the wasp. We can see its distorted reflection in the transparent cup. The cup provides a muted yet striking background due to refracted light. The same wasp but a side view. The antennae are blurred due to frantic motion. We are zoomed out a little and the striking background with curved bands of colour are revealed.

I went to Edinburgh University about 30 years ago and the story then was it was the place rich folk paid for their thick offspring to go when they couldn't get into Oxbridge.

Thinking of springtime. Here's some pictures of bees shagging
This one is a little disturbing. The bees are on a large daisy like flower. The male has a grip of the female but she is clearly trying to get away, two front legs outstretched, grasping. Again on a large daisy like flower, they all are. The male seems to have overshot and landed upside down on the petals. The female looks down on him from the centre of the flower. The beast with two backs. The bees are tumbling in the air above the flower. It is difficult to discern which bit goes with which bee. The bees have tumbled together off the centre of the flower. The female seems to be giving a half hearted struggle.

Newest speakers. Stuck on what colour/texture to wrap the cabinet in.
New speaker, TDL nucleus cabinet with new drivers. The woofer is black with a maroon wave thing and a rose metal coloured bullet thing in the middle, quite pretty. The front baffle has a carbon fibre effect that actually looks more like crushed velvet giving the whole speaker quite a goth look.

Last pair of speakers I pimped. These were Denon, looked like they had been kept in a cowshed for 20 years.
Various shots of the speakers I have pimped up. This is the latest in a mahogany red cabinet, brushed steel baffle that gives a blue tinge. The woofer is a coppery orange and the tweeter yellow AMT which is like a concertina rather than a dome. This is a front right corner view.
