My Spirit of Air 10m mast arrived today. I need something to recite my current pole as park of the summer house project.

Alas, it seems too good to leave outside! 🤓

My older pole is only 8m and may be too flexible at 6 or 7m.

These were surprisingly nice, emphasis on the “we’re”. I was only supposed to have a few, but ended up having them all. 56g of carbs and I didn’t take for them, so sugars likely to rocket later on! Ah well, that’s the rock n roll lifestyle I lead!

Just gee looking at portable power stations, after they hit my FB timeline.

For compactness, build quality and (more importantly) weight, the Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 looks quite good.

Popped to Lidl for a bowler hat with sleeves, but they were all out, so picked up this laser measure for an upcoming garden project. Only 12.99 of your Earth pounds!

Considering a new shack PC, probably of the Geekom mini genre. However, the ball ache of installing all my used apps, included settings and data, puts me off somewhat.

Popped to Holden Wood Antiques, and had a spot of lunch while there.

Eating out is something I don’t ordinarily do due to all my “quirks”.

Some views at the back.

Radio can be hazardous! Struggling a bit this morning, but that’s the price we pay.

Radio club net night last night. Leaning over so items in the shack, to get to the power switch, I over stretched and popped a muscle in my ribs (RHS).

Tender, but I think I’ll make it!

Just about to launch my new brand of shampoo. Take 2 bottles into the shower? Not me! 👍🤓👍

Some light hearted silliness, best taken in a dim area! Give it a go!

RovyVon Aurora A3 (G4) in gun metal.

What a brilliant compact torch. Very powerful.

4 brightness settings (remembers the setting used as long as left on for at least 3 minutes.

Very bright strobe, which would be a good defence tool. Very disorienting and still seeing stars now!

Don’t mind if I do!

New glove day. Alas, not available in fluor yellow, so white was the brightest.

Lots of thick gel padding. I usually get sore around the thumb webbing.

Comfort is essential in order to maintain good control of the supermarket trolley, especially in tight aisles!

Arrived this afternoon and on a shelf in the front room. Sensor hasn’t been out long and is just sitting on the outside PowerPoint for the time being.

Works well so far.

Without revealing your actual age, what's something you remember that if you told a younger person they wouldn't understand? 🤓

Productive afternoon. 2 x ZX Spectrum keyboard membrane swaps ( made easier by prepping them earlier in the week).

DIVMMC up and running fine, though I did think the games folder would actually have some games in it!

These arrived, today, for the collection.

I was only really after Musicmaster, but it is quite rare and I found it in this bundle, which was just over £15 all, so snapped it up.

Once I get Musicmaster up and running watch out for my first single!

Ooooooooh tickley head.

Weather Stations. Thoughts.

I have one - A Maplin clone of the Watson (was about £50).

Still works but the batteries in the base station only last a couple of months and, on swapping them, all previous settings are lost and all the alarms are set, which takes ages to turn off!
