📽️ We're pleased that Peers took the opportunity last week to support our calls for the Assisted Dying Bill to provide the multi-disciplinary panel with specific legal powers.

We are continuing to press for these changes to the Bill ahead of its next debate in parliament on Friday.

BASW Chief Executive, Dr Ruth Allen will be giving evidence to the UK Covid-19 Inquiry on Thursday, 3 July.

The public hearing is for Module 6, which focuses on adult social care. BASW is the only social work organisation involved in the Inquiry.
