RIP Brian Wilson, an icon of my youth. I was lucky enough to see the Beach Boys, live, in Glasgow, in 1967. They played God Only Knows, live, one of the most difficult pieces to play live. I will never forget it. RIP Brian.

@georgetakei.bsky.social. Just read in another post that it was on this day, in 1959, that Japanese-American citizens regained their American citizenship. I knew you were put in 'concentration' camps during the War but I didn't realise it took so long to regain it. Must brush up on American history.
